Company History
Founded by Wilhelm Wagner in the year 1950, WIWA, located in Lahnau, Germany, is a middle-standing company with over 100 employees working in two facilities.With nearly 60 years of experience in the fields of spray technology, coatings and fluid handling, WIWA provides its customers with reliable, state-of-the-art equipment.After acquiring the company gratec in 1998, WIWA was able to expand the product pallet to include injection equipment for construction sanitation.

1950

WIWA delivers the first oil and grease pumps

1967

the first airless paint spraying units leave WIWA’s factory

1968

the product program is expanded to include new generation airless paint spraying and underbody coating equipment

1970

air combi and zinc silicate spraying equipment, transfer pumps, airless spray guns and related accessories are added to WIWA’s product pallet

1980

in addition to the expansion of WIWA’s transfer pump program and the introduction of extrusion pumps, WIWA Hot Job spraying systems came onto the market

1993

continual expansion and improvement of WIWA’s product program

1994

the development of dual component technology enabled WIWA to reach new market segments

1998

the take-over of gratec brought injection equipment for the sanitation and repair of buildings and other structures

1999

WIWA added the US Navy to its loyal base of customers

2001

US subsidiary, WIWA LP, founded in Chesapeake, Viginia
